Infrastructural development of any nation indicates its economic status and strength. India being a fast developing country there is a remarkable pace seen in infrastructural development all over the country. The field of Engineering is the base for creating various infrastructures required for the ease and comfort of the human society and in this activity all disciplines of Engineering have their role to play. India today needs a large number of engineering professionals to make it a Superpower in 2020.

The Universal College of Engineering and Research (UCOER), Sasewadi, Tal-Bhor, Dist-Pune is the Institute started with a social commitment to train and develop young engineers who can contribute their efforts towards nation building. In its developing stage all the activities of the Institute are student centered and result oriented. The quality of teaching learning process is ensured through regular monitoring of student’s attendance, conduct for theory and practical classes and continuous assessment of the term work, evaluation through assignments and conduct of special classes wherever required.

It is the mission of the Institute to provide the society with Engineers having educational, social and cultural development. I am confident that with its resources at present the college is in a position to offer the best theoretical and practical training to the students.
